Bridal Steps has two different program choices. The "Hurry-up" program consists of 24 one-hour sessions with a trainer in addition to the fitness evaluation, follow-up evaluation, nutritional program and a postural analysis. The "Early Bird" package consists of 36 one-hour sessions includes everything mentioned in the "Hurry-up" package. Post Rehab Fitness Training

Post Rehab Fitness TrainingMedical research has clearly shown that a structured and regular exercise regimen is beneficial for most conditions. At Vital Steps we work with a variety of clients who have conditions that may include hypertension, diabetes, chronic musculoskeletal disorders, chronic lower back pain, ACL reconstruction, arthritis, fibromyalgia, total joint replacements, chronic tendinitis, muscular imbalances and others.

We work cooperatively with medical professionals to develop safe and effective fitness programs for special populations and rehab clients based on information provided by the clients physician, physical therapist or chiropractor.

All new clients are screened to ensure that their exercise regimen is safe and appropriate for their condition. As well we obtain medical clearance and approval of the fitness program from the clients physician or therapist prior to beginning the exercise program.

Our focus is exclusively post rehabilitative, we do not practice any form of medicine, chiropractic or physical therapy.

Vital Steps specializes in designing fitness programs for clients with post-rehab conditions. We work closely with rehabilitation professionals, functioning as part of the rehabilitation team. Our personal trainers offer valuable in home support to individuals who are unable to travel.

Once our Medical Exercise Specialist has assessed a client, a program is designed- the goal of which is to continue the process of returning the client to a pre-injury state of fitness or better. Our strength, flexibility and cardiovascular training work to stimulate the release of pain-killing endorphins and activate healing mechanisms.

Osteoporosis Prevention and Rehab

Osteoporosis Prevention and RehabOsteoporosis Bone Building Training

Osteoporosis literally means porous bones. Bones that were once strong have become fragile. It's called a silent disease because generally there are no symptoms in its early stages. The condition that lead to the disease often develop during the teens and are compounded by lifestyle choices over the years.

Strengthening the Bones

Physical activity is a major factor in contributing to good bone health. We offer customized exercise programs which focus on strength, balance, flexibility and weight bearing activities necessary to maintain or improve bone density. Each program is designed to be safe and effective and is modified continually based on the client's improvements.
