New Classes

Vital Yoga
Class begins with classical yoga sun salutations to warm the body and prepare the mind. Continues with a brisk aerobic journey, and then concludes with yoga postures to tone and strengthen muscles followed by stretching and deep relaxation. Great class for all fitness levels.

Power Yoga (Ashtanga)
This is a fun, yet challenging class where you will move, sweat and breathe like you never have before. Creative and electric mix of traditional yoga poses linked by the breathe that will build your stability, strength and stamina. Intermediate to advanced.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi combines movement, meditation and breath regulation through a series of smooth-flowing, gentle movements and simple postures designed to improve coordination, relieve stress, promote overall well-being, strengthen the immune system and enhance the flow of vital energy in the body. All welcome.

Boot Camp Chaos
Not for the faint of heart! Lungs, upper torso push-pull, push ups, squats, running drills and for the advanced groups, gymstick or mygym is incorporated. Bring a partner. Partner training leads to a great workout. Advanced.

Zumba Series
Zumba is the hot new fitness program inspired from Latin dance rhythm. Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is easy to follow. Have fun dancing to the Meringue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Calypso and Rock and Roll while burning calories. Great for all fitness levels.

Cardio Sculpt Series*
* Cardio Sculpt - A high-energy, fat-burning, low-impact, and aerobics class designed to burn calories and train the heart while toning your whole body. Beginners to advanced.

* Cardio Sculpt PT – A high-energy, fat-burning, low-impact class that begins with an aerobic component then changes into a group training-style, muscle-sculpting total body workout! Intermediate to advanced.

Super Circuit Training
This workout session combines strength and cardiovascular circuit training that works the whole body. Cardio equipment and free weights are combined into a specifically designed series of challenging activities for maximum results. The trainer ensures that the session is energetic, fun, designed to strengthen, tone, and shape your body. All levels welcome.

Boot Camp
High energy strength, endurance, cardio training program guaranteed to challenge your mind, body and spirit and take you to a higher level of fitness.

Organic Stretch
A comprehensive series of stretches that will improve your flexibility and posture, lengthen the muscles, help reduce injuries and relax the mind. Beginners to advanced.

Relaxing Hatha Yoga
A yoga class that combines postures to improve muscular strength and improve flexibility. Each class focuses on breathing techniques and concludes with deep relaxation. It is designed to bring both the body and mind to a dynamic balance of health. All fitness levels welcome.

Core Pilates
A series of exercises performed on the mat that concentrates on improving your core strength. Beginners through to advance.

Fabulous Abs Series*
* Awesome Abs – 20 minutes of concentrated muscle-specific exercises designed to target, tone, tighten and strengthen your abs.

* Awesome Abs with Stability Ball – This high-intensity class uses the stability ball to challenge the abdominal muscles for 20 minutes straight. Your other ‘problem areas’ will be targeted as well, leaving you feeling great all over!

* Zumba Abs Butts & Thighs is a 20-minute workout that targets those problems areas with the upbeat Latin inspired music and zumba moves.

Fat Burner Series*
* Fat Burner – Feel the fat melt away with a workout specially designed to increase muscle tone while maximizing fat burning, using the latest Body Wave fitness system, the My Gym. Beginners to advanced.

* Fat Burner Plus – A calorie-burning, strength-building class that uses a special piece of equipment called a Gymstick. This workout is also designed to increase muscle tone while maximizing fat burning. Beginners to advanced.

Buff Girl Body Workout Series*

A fabulous workout for teen girls that combines yoga, boot camp, circuit and fat burner for a long, lean, strong and healthy body! Whether training for school sports teams or just staying active, this series will keep fitness fun. All levels welcome.

* Buff Girl Boot Camp
A high-energy and fast paced endurance, strength and cardio workout aimed at taking you to a high level of fitness - perfect for young athletes in their off-season!

* Buff Girl Yoga
Hatha yoga the perfect way to de-stress and rejuvenate the mind - and serves as a great study break!

* Buff Girl Super Circuit
A combination of both strength and cardiovascular training that works the whole body for maximum results. Cardio equipment and free weights are combined into a specifically designed series of activities that are taught by the instructor in a fun and high-energy program.

* Buff Girl Fat Burner
A high energy and fun filled class provides a great outlet to get fit and stay active while exploring new kinds of exercise and different ways to express your creativity and personality.

10-20 Minute Drill
Our 10-20 Minute Drill focuses attention on four distinct areas: strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility. The 10-20 Minute Drill really works, “for over 30 years.” Using a continues series of specific exercises, high number of reps for each muscle group, while adding stretching exercises with the series of reps. You will love the results. All fitness levels.

Senior Training
Exercise designed for the mature adult. Age levels include 65-90 plus year old clients. Counselling and Kinaesthetic training to restore muscle balance and function.

Kick and Tone
A high energy class incorporating martial arts and weights to tone upper arms and lower body. Great for all fitness levels.

Vital Steps Youth and Teenager Program
This program develops the fundamental functional fitness skills with an individualized approach to each youth and teen fitness needs. Proper drills are customized in developing speed, agility, strength, and balance in assisting him/her to achieve their fitness goals. Every youth or teenager will be able to apply these functional skills to their sport of choice or simply to develop a healthier foundation for life.
