Vital Steps' Classes

Vital Yoga

Class begins with classical yoga sun salutations to warm the body and prepare the mind. Continues with a brisk aerobic journey, and then concludes with yoga postures to tone and strengthen muscles followed by stretching and deep relaxation. Great class for all fitness levels.


Relaxing Hatha Yoga

A yoga class that combines postures to improve muscular strength and improve flexibility. Each class focuses on breathing techniques and concludes with deep relaxation. It is designed to bring both the body and mind to a dynamic balance of health. All fitness levels welcome.


Yin Yoga

This class moves beyond the muscles of the body, targeting the dense connective tissues, of the lower spine, hips, pelvis and hamstrings. During this class the postures will be held for up to 3 minutes plus resulting in a deep release of habitual holding patterns in the physical body. Almost all postures are practiced on the floor. This class will benefit everyone, from beginner to advanced, especially those with active lives (runners, cyclists, skiers etc..)


Tai Chi Fit

Tai Chi Fit combines movement, meditation and breath regulation through a series of smooth-flowing, gentle movements and simple postures designed to improve coordination, relieve stress, promote overall well-being, strengthen the immune system and enhance the flow of vital energy in the body. All welcome.


Organic Stretch

A fusion of deep muscular stretches and therapeutic yoga postures. Organic stretch is a comprehensive series of stretches that will improve your flexibility and posture, lengthen the muscles, help reduce injuries and relax the mind. Beginners to advanced welcome.


Core Pilates

Is a contemporary approach to the original mind, body and spirit exercise, incorporating modern exercise science and rehabilitation principles. Pilates helps develop strength, flexibility, endurance and posture, without building bulk or stressing your joints. The perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, athletic training or rehabilitation.

Pilates exercises will leave you looking toned, feeling refreshed and moving with ease.

Performed on a mat or on specially designed equipment, Pilates is a fitness programme for a lifetime which can have the following benefits:

  • Improves postural problems
  • Relief from aches and pains
  • Improves balance, co-ordination & circulation
  • Increases core strength, stability and peripheral mobility
  • Re-balances muscles around the joints
  • Balances strength with flexibility (for injury prevention)

Boot Camp Pump!

This super high energy, high intensity non stop muscle endurance, cardio training program is guaranteed to challenge your mind, body and spirit. High repetitions non stop action using low weights, gymsticks, tubing and body bars will challenge every part of your body leaving you feeling exhilarated and fully worked out. Achieve a higher level of fitness with this workout. All fitness levels welcome.


Boot Camp Chaos

This high intensity chaotic but organized and demanding workout is NOT for the faint of heart! Every part of your body will be challenged to the max. Activities will include speed running, plyometrics, agility drills of all types then onto heavy weights to strengthen and tone your muscles. Some partner work included. Are you up to the challenge?


Super Circuit Training

This workout session combines strength and cardiovascular circuit training that works the whole body. Cardio equipment and free weights are combined into a specifically designed series of challenging activities for maximum results. The trainer ensures that the session is energetic, fun, designed to strengthen, tone, and shape your body. All levels welcome.


Super Circuit Training Plus

A challenging, energizing circuit style workout incorporating gymsticks, my gyms, heavy weights and cardio equipment to maximize calorie burning and muscle toning. Workout with like minded women to maximize results. Stay motivated while having fun. All fitness levels welcome.


Cardio Sculpt Series

  • Cardio Body Blitz:
    This high intensity low-impact workout is designed for all levels looking for maximum fitness results. This is a high energy interval style continuous cardio and tone up class that’s tough on the heart, easy on the joints and maximizes all over muscle sculpting. Tubing, light weights, help to tighten and tone you muscles, while the cardio portion burns away unwanted body fat. Burn the fat and tone the muscles while having fun. Recommended for beginners to intermediate.
  • Cardio Body Blast
    This is a 55 minute high intensity, mixed hi/low aerobics interval, fat burning style class. The class is deigned to blast away unwanted body fat and shape your muscles for a lean and tight look. For the strong sleek look, isolation exercises with weights are incorporated into the workout – bicep curls, shoulder presses and dips for strong lean arms while high intensity cardio movements burn away the fat. Lunges and squats with weights sculpt your hips and thighs. Recommended for intermediate to advanced fitness levels.

Body Blast II

Body Blast classes consist of bursts of high intensity work alternated with periods of lower intensity activity. Studies have shown that this type of workout is effective in maximizing fat loss. These classes will super charge your fitness, boost your metabolism, burn off that extra fat and assist you in teaching those goals you have set for yourself. Beginners to Intermediate.


ABSolute Core Training

30 minutes of challenging concentrated core / abdominal exercises designed to tone, tighten and strengthen your abdominal and back muscles. Results include flatter abs, better posture, increase in sports performance and reduction in back pain.


Sexy Salsaerobics

Sexy Salsaerobics is an exciting fitness program inspired by Cuban Latin Dance rhythms. Hot Salsa Aerobics combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is easy to follow. Have fun dancing to the Salsa, Meringue, Cha Cha, and Calypso while burning calories. This class is great for all levels.


Belly Fit

The evolution of fusion fitness for women. High energy aerobics fused with belly dance, African dance, Bollywood and Bhangra. Pilates infused core work and yoga infused stretch. Ancient wisdom meets modern fitness in one transformational hour. This class is great for all levels.


Lean Teen Series

A fabulous workout for teen girls that combines boot camp, kickbox, hard core abs and fat burner for a long, lean, strong and healthy body! Whether training for school sports teams or just staying active, this series will keep fitness fun. All levels welcome.

  • Lean Teen Boot Camp:
    A high-energy and fast paced endurance, strength and cardio workout aimed at taking you to a high level of fitness - perfect for young athletes in their off-season!
  • Lean Teen Body Blitz:
    A high energy and fun filled class provides a great outlet to get fit and stay active while exploring new kinds of exercise and different ways to express your creativity and personality.
  • Lean Teen Super Circuit:
    A challenging energizing circuit workout incorporating gymsticks, my gyms, heavy weights, kickbox and cardio equipment to maximize calorie burning and muscle toning. Stay motivated while having fun!
